Queen Creek is a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona. It’s about 40 minutes away from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and about a 10-minute drive from Mesa Gateway Airport. The Town of Queen Creek was incorporated in 1989 and used to be called Rittenhouse after one of the major roads in town. It was eventually renamed Queen Creek, after a local mine and a creek than ran nearby.

Up until the 2000s there were very people who lived in Queen Creek. In 1990 only 2,700 people lived there and in 10 years the population nearly doubled. In 2010 the population jumped to 27k and as of 2021 there are about 58k people who call Queen Creek home.

So why was this little town ranked the 10th Best US Suburb to move to in 2021? Here are 6 reasons to love Queen Creek, Arizona.
